Biography
Stephanie Childs is director of communications for the Grocery Manufacturers Association. As the chief spokesperson, she articulates GMA’s positions while forging and sustaining relationships with national, regional and trade reporters. Additionally, she creates and implements media strategies to advance GMA’s position on health and nutrition, obesity, food labeling and other related issues.
Prior to joining GMA, Childs was an associate at Weber Shandwick. She also was a state scheduler for Sen. Susan Collins.
Childs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Boston University in international relations and political science.
