Biography
Mari Stull, Director, International Regulatory Policy, organizes GMA's extensive international regulatory work with the Codex Alimentarius Commission, Organisation for Economic and Co-operation and Development, and other international regulatory forums. Through her work in these forums, Stull strives to limit barriers to trade, and achieve harmonization of international regulatory standards for our member companies. She also guides GMA's efforts in international and national coalitions that GMA helps lead, including the International Council for Grocery Manufacturers Associations, North American Alliance, Food Industry Codex Coalition, and the International Alliance of Food Product Associations.
Before joining GMA, Stull worked in Trinidad and Tobago as Coordinator for the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture where she was responsible private sector development and trade promotion in the Caribbean region. Stull also developed, marketed and implemented AgroInfo Americas, the Hemisphere's Agricultural Trade Network.
Simultaneous to her position as Coordinator, Caribbean Agribusiness Development, she established herself as both Founder and Executive Director of the Caribbean AgriBusiness Association, the Caribbean's first agribusiness association.
She holds a Master of Science in Agribusiness Management and Economics, a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management, as well as a certificate of International Business: School of Agribusiness and Environmental Resources from Arizona State University.
