For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes the visitor's domain name and e-mail address (where possible). We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about you. In adopting this privacy policy, our intent is to balance our legitimate business interest in collecting and using information with your reasonable expectations of privacy.
We collect the domain names and e-mail addresses (where possible) of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages are accessed or visited, user-specific information on what pages are accessed or visited and information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information, applications for membership and requests for member services. In the case of GMA members, we also collect the postal address, telephone and fax numbers. This information is collected at the time that members fill out a password request form.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, and to update our records. The information is collected solely by GMA and is not collected on behalf of any other person or entity. Only authorized employees of GMA have access to the information.
Upon request via postal mail, e-mail, or telephone, GMA will provide to visitors a summary of personal information retained by GMA about the visitor. Visitors may modify, correct, change, or update their personal record, or cause their personal record to be removed from GMA's database. GMA will only send personal records to the e-mail addresses on file for the visitor name associated with it.
WE DO NOT MAKE THE NAMES OR ANY OTHER IDENTIFYING INFORMATION OF OUR WEB SITE VISITORS AVAILABLE TO ORGANIZATIONS OUTSIDE GMA. IDENTIFYING INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SOLD, SHARED OR OTHERWISE DISTRIBUTED TO ANYONE OUTSIDE OF GMA.
GMA does not knowingly solicit data from minors, nor do we knowingly market to minors.
Please note: GMA reserves the right to change this policy at any time by notifying visitors of the existence and location of the new or revised privacy policy.
