Serving "OUR" Consumer

Today's customer-centric supply chain mandates efficient responsiveness to customers and, ultimately, consumers. Logistics excellence requires flexible processes and technologies compatible with customer needs. And customer needs, driven by market demand, are changing at lightning speed.

While new technologies hold considerable promise for logistics-related competitive advantage, differentiation, and cost cutting efficiencies, they also introduce daunting challenges.

Acknowledging strategic information systems as the critical enabler, GMA's Information Systems and Logistics Committees examine the challenges, issues, trends, and technologies on the forefront of industry IS/LD evolution and address these subjects in the annual GMA Information Systems and Logistics & Distribution (IS/LD) Conference.

This year's IS/LD Conference will focus on serving the consumer and winning at each moment of truth. The program will provide case study insight on collaborative best practices between supplier and customer to facilitate seamless, accurate communication and expedite the complete order, delivery to shelf and replenish cycle at minimum time and cost.
