e-Collaboration
E-Collaboration, the use of Internet based technologies to facilitate continuous automated exchange of information between supply chain partners, remains a critical CPG business priority. E-Collaboration is about companies working together to integrate their operations and eliminate barriers that impact their ability to satisfy consumers and drive out unnecessary cost. It is being used to integrate previously separate aspects of the supply chain and to enhance the value delivered to the consumer by providing a series of practical improvement concepts to unlock this value.

Accurate data synchronization is a cornerstone to e-collaboration and foundational to EPC/RFID implementation. To ensure that CPG manufacturers are involved in the latest developments, GMA works closely with other industry associations and standards development bodies, including GCI, GS1, EPCglobal, AIM, FMI and CIES.
