“We are delighted to recognize Campbell Soup Company with this year’s AMC CPG Award,” said Peter Brandt, chairman of GMA’s AMC Award Committee and Vice President, Consumer Sector, Industry Solutions Group, SAP America, Inc. “Their Soup Category Leadership Plan demonstrated creativity, a willingness to take risks and, most importantly, measurable results. Our committee was impressed with the overall quality and quantity of the submissions we received, which demonstrated that innovation and creativity are thriving in the CPG industry.”

Accepting the award at the annual GMA Executive Conference, Campbell Soup Company President and CEO Doug Conant said, “We will continue to develop the Simple Meals category with new products, packaging, and merchandising solutions as well as dynamic consumer programs for creating center store excitement and growth.”
