GMA/FPA Sustainability Compendium Database

In June 2007, GMA/FPA released Sustainability: Balancing Opportunity and Risk in the Consumer Products Industry, in conjunction with Deloitte Consulting LLP, revealing that environmental sustainability is not a passing trend; rather, it is a critical business issue that is rapidly becoming a requirement for consumer businesses.

To help member companies track sustainability trends among retailers and better align their sustainability practices with those of their customers, GMA/FPA is pleased to make available an electronic compendium of retailer sustainability practices that was produced in conjunction with the study. The compendium database is searchable by various criteria and covers topics such as NGO collaborations, energy conservation and packaging reduction. Follow the instructions below to download the compendium directly to your desktop (please note system requirements) or contact Alexis Larkin to obtain a CD containing this valuable resource. System Requirements:
  • Microsoft Excel 2003 must be properly installed and working to use the GMA/FPA-Deloitte Sustainability Practices Compendium. No other versions of Excel are compatible.

Downloading Instructions:
  • Click on the below link to download the Compendium file (titled Compendium.zip) and save it to your computer.
  • Once you have downloaded the Compendium.zip file from the GMA Web site and saved it to your computer, unzip the file into a folder and double-click on the setup.exe file. This will begin set up and installation of the Compendium.
